Great question.   All of our caddies have trolley mode which is using the cart to power the wheels, and the you (the user) manually steers the cart left/right.  This is most similar to using a standard push cart, but without the effort of physically pushing the cart.  

Now some of our most popular models also include the ability to also be controlled via a hand-held remote control.  The remotes have 4 directions(forward, reverse, left and right), a parking brake, and 4 preset speeds to effortlessly guide the caddy around your course.

The Yellowstone is our great entry-level caddy that can be at home on any golf course.   The Yellowstone is actually based on many similar aspects to the original GRi-1500Li, but updated with a new design, and some extra rugged features.   It comes standard with a powder-coated steel frame, long-range lithium-ion battery, and included anti-tip wheel for some hilly terrain help, and for those of you who aren't sure if you want a remote control caddy or not, this cart gives you the option to upgrade to a remote after the fact!

The GRi-975Li is our best-selling non-remote golf trolley since 2015!   The 975 is a great golf trolley that is made of sturdy, lightweight aluminum and has easy-to-use electronics.  One of the best features of the caddy is the automatic downhill braking which many users claim that it is the best of any caddy brand.   

Both caddies have dual motors, and Long-Range lithium batteries with two-year warranties, and are fully supported by the Cart Tek staff.  If you are on the fence between remote and non-remote or are very budget conscience, the Yellowstone Trolley is the cart for you.  If you know you want a non-remote and want some of the best features of our trollies, the GRI-975Li is the one that fits the bill.
