How do you store your battery for extended periods of time?Updated a year ago
We consider long-term storage as 2+ months. Here are the best practices for storing your lithium battery.
1) Complete a full charge of your battery using the proper charging sequence. (plug your battery into the charger first, and then plug the charger into the wall)
2) After completing a full charge cycle, unplug the charger from the wall, and then disconnect the battery from the charger.
3) Store the battery in a dry location, away from water or flammable sources.
4) Repeat this process every 60 days.

Most of the time we find that the batteries won’t deplete enough to need a charge until about the 90-day mark, but it is best to check just in case.
