The Cart-Tek 1500 V3 golf trolley provides the option to customize certain settings to best suit your preferences. Here's a guide on how to program your Cart-Tek caddy:
Instructions for Customizing Caddy Settings:
Speed Customization: In program mode, you can set and store your preferred speeds. Adjust the speed using the up and down buttons on the remote transmitter. Once you reach the desired speed, press and hold the desired number button (e.g., #1) until the blue LED becomes solid. Without releasing the button, press and hold the glide stop button until the blue LED turns off. This will save the new speed setting to the selected number button.
Tracking Adjustment: If your caddy tends to veer off to one side, you can electronically adjust the tracking. While in program mode, press the left button once to adjust the caddy to the left, or press the right button once to adjust it to the right. Each button press adjusts the tracking by approximately one foot over a 25-foot run. After adjustment, tighten the adjustment nuts and axle cap nuts.
Adjust Turning Force: While in program mode, press the Reverse button to stop the caddy. Press the Forward button to increase the turning force or the Reverse button to decrease it. To make incremental adjustments, press and hold the button until the blue LED becomes solid, and then release it. Repeat this process to fine-tune the turning force to your liking. Press the parking brake to save the adjustment.
Resetting the Caddy to Factory Settings:
Performing a factory reset can be a valuable option when you need to undo changes, troubleshoot issues, or simplify your Cart-Tek caddy's settings. Consider it as a tool to restore the caddy's default configuration and optimize its performance in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
1. Enter Program Mode: Press and hold both Speed 1 and Speed 2 buttons until the blue LEDs on the handle flash. The caddy will move forward indicating you are in programming mode.
2. Perform Reset: While in program mode, press the reverse arrow to stop the caddy from moving forward. Then press numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and then the Parking Brake button. This action will reset your caddy back to its original factory settings.
